AnimeNEXT 2009 Dance is here... Jun 18 2009-
After cutting it up and shrinking it down, I finally got the AnimeNEXT 2009 Dance online. Check it out below and in the Video section under "Fun Videos"...

AnimeNEXT and Aftermath Jun 17 2009-
Well first, lets get to what I've been promising and get up that AnimeNEXT 2006 footage...
It's actually been uploaded for a week now, but I've been so busy that it slipped my mind to post it here. ^^'
Now that were's done with2006, lets get to AnimeNEXT 2009...
Was actually a REALLY great weekend. I'm honestly liking the new location, which give up alot more space for certain events, and alot nicer places to film. I ended up spending most of the weekend in Main Events doing video Events like Cosplay Masquerade the Cosplay Burlesque. I got some video too for the Rav...er, Dance...and some other stuff which I might post later.
AN 2006 footage once again delayed. Jun 09 2009-
With AnimeNEXT 2009 less than a week away, I decided to try and get all the AnimeNEXT 2006 up for you guys to enjoy. However, my computer doesn't want to cooperate with me in this process. T_T
I am still working on it and trying to see if I can pull off a miricle by today or tomorrow, but I'm going to say right now that the footage might now be up till after this weekend. I will make sure that the Otakon 2007 footage is quick to follow though to prevent anymore delays, and if I run across the CPAC 2008 footage I'll do the same.
Old Videos... Jun 07 2009-
Something I just ran across on Vitaly's Youtube page...an old short made between me, Vitaly, and Mark. I honestly didn't really think much of it (expecially since it was ment as a skit in a failed show we were working on), but I really do like it. Check it out...
Everything JT Tells Me Could Be The Truth May 21 2009-
So yea, if you're wondering about todays News title, it's just stealing it from "Everything Fred Tells Me is The Truth" which is an up and coming film by the good people at Words Pictures Movies. I'm joining the crew during the filming next month, so while it's not JCnet film, I might give some updates here and there on it.
Otherwise, alot has been going on...some good...some bad. I won't get into it all, but I'm trying to make my way back to some new videos.
First, I want to address the Anime Convention footage. I keep delaying it but I promise whether it's this week or next month, the footage is coming. I'm going to change around my scheduling a bit with it though, and try to get up AnimeNEXT '06 followed by Otakon '07, and sometime down the line from that I'll get up CPAC '08.
Next, it seems there was a video I worked on last year and forgot all about. It was a quick short, but needed some voice overs which we weren't really equipped for at the time. I'm still a little low on equipment for sound, but we're a little better now and I'm going to try and get that done soon.
Other than that, the summer is here and I've got a little more free time than in the past. I don't know what to work on yet, but I'm itching to do some stuff so look out for more in the future.
Updates For You's! May 08 2009-
IDK, I'm just sicks of writing news subjects that make sense...
Anyway, I just loaded 2 new videos from Bladeclaw Productions in the video section. "The Sound" which is a nice little short, and a spoof on the Angry Video Game Nerd vs. Nostalgia Critic: Final Battle from last year. I have to be honest, I like alot of the AVGN vs NC Spoof, but it really does drag on at times. It's been a regular comment to Vitaly about the pacing of the video, but we're not sure if he'll ever get a re-edit out. Still, the video has ALOT of great moments in it. If you ever find it to drag, just fast foward by a minute or 2...trust me, there is stuff in the video you don't want to miss.
Other than that, I've honestly returned a bit to my procrastinating ways. I shot video 2 weeks ago to make a promo video for some friends, but honestly have not wanted to touch it since. I'm starting to feel bored with shooting video for live events as I tend to have no purpose for it afterwards, and honestly don't feel like doing it. I got more into video as a medium of telling stories, and I'm doing my best to try and get back in that direction. Still though, just because I don't like breaking promises, I will still be loading old anime convention footage onto the site. I'll be getting around to that hopefully next week.
On a personal note, I've been invited to help out a independent film being shot in my area. It's called "Everything Fred Tells Me is True", and shooting is currently set to start in June. As someone who's really been itching to work on a film, and meet fellow filmmakers in my area, I'm very excited. I may keep updates on the project as it continues.
"JerseyCowboy Media" to "JerseyCowboy.net" Apr 27 2009-
Okay, I was going to go into a long speech into why the site's name is changing, but I won't. Just know though that we are no longer JerseyCowboy Media (JCM)...we are once again JerseyCowboy.net and only JerseyCowboy.net. I will note though that the name change has absolutely nothing to do with outside associations, but because of my own dislike of the branding. Unless anyone wants to question me further on the matter, I won't go beyond that.
I've already changed our banner to reflect the name change as well and show off our new logo. I know otherwise banner is a bit plain right now, but I like the picture I used because of the product it advertises. The product is a soda marketed for anime fans called "Tentacle Grape" (lol). The picture was taken by friend Gordon Virasawmi when he visited the Tentacle Grape panel at CPAC 2009, showing off his empty bottle. I kind of borrowed the picture from his site AnimeJutsu, but I'm sure he doesn't mind.
Other than that, I got some raw video I'm going to try and get through this week, but right now I'm enjoying a day off from work and keeping a friend company. I'll be back on the job soon though, giving you some of that lovely content I keep promising. Till next time...
It's Another Update... Apr 21 2009-
Look, some video...
The video above was from a homemade studio test. Besides the normal videos, I'm trying to see if I can make some pro-quality looking blogs/talk shows. However, that is to be seen in the future.
As from their, I'm just getting over a bug and getting back into things. I going to start shifting through the anime convention footage and start posting from that (trust me, there is some good stuff in there). Otherwise, I have some friends interested in creating new videos and I'm hoping to work on those in the near future.
So yea, it was a short update but that's it for now. I'll try to load some new stuff soon. Till then, keep visiting and thanks for the support. :)
NY Comic Con 2008 Apr 15 2009-
This is just some raw footage of my time at NY Comic Con 2008...
When I had originally shot this footage, my intentions were to make a promo video, but I never got around to it. I ended up just keeping the video for memories until I was showing a friend some old convention videos. He was bugging me to get them online because con goers might enjoy the footage, and since I've been slow on new stuff, I obliged.
NY Comic Con 2008 is now up, and I plan on doing the same for Otakon 2007 and now Castle Point 2008 as well (I ran across video from CPAC '08 last night). This also may be my last daily update this week as I'm attending an AGT meeting tomorrow, and have work on Friday. I will still do regular updates when possible, so keep visiting as we're long off from being inactive again. :)
Till next time...
Third Update in a Row! O_O Apr 14 2009-
Sorry, really not an update, but I really like the idea of having new articles on the front page for 3 days in the row. It's like I'm actually trying or something! :)
Anyway, I ran across my raw footage from NY Comic Con 2008 and Otakon 2007. NY Comic Con was only 5-6 minutes of footage, so I might play with it a bit and throw it on to the site for fun. Same with Otakon 2007, but since Otakon was a little more footage, I might have to play with it a little more before throwing it up.
Another thing, while I have this moment to go on about stuff...I just recently went through some of the old articles on the site. It seems I have a talent for promising projects that don't seem to materialize. I apologies about this, as I tend to get behind a project then slowly lose focus in it. That is why I try not to promise as much in updates now. When I announce that I want to give you guys something, I really want to give it to you. I know this is something I need to develop trust in, but I will do my best from now on to follow through with promises posted on this site.
That's it for now. Keep checking in with the site as I'll keep trying to update when possible. Till next time cowboys...
